The September meeting notes were approved.

Leadership Reports
During the leadership reports, Chair Hayles read the mission statement for the LGR Forum. Vice Chair Boda reported on the issue of resort rentals in Big Bear. For Vice Chair Okamoto's report, Jeffrey Woo, President of the San Francisco AOR, highlighted his Association's efforts to reach out to the local Chinese and Spanish-speaking communities.
Information Sharing Items
Additional items discussed included: the impact of state budget cuts on rural school bus transportation in Humboldt County; no-smoking ordinances in Pasadena and Alameda; vacation rental restrictions, density standards and the Coastal Commission in Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo County; housing turnover index and the point-of-sale in Marin County; rezoning, permit issues, green building practices, transient occupancy and the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency in Lake Tahoe; the defeat of point-of-sale climate action plan requirements in San Luis Obispo County.
