2010 Fall RAF Committee Meeting Notes

Marriott Hotel, Anaheim
Chair Wendy Furth called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m. Wendy welcomed everyone to their third and final meeting and thanked committee for their hard work and for putting the "FUN" back in Fundraising!
Goals:
Raise $3 million...we raised $2.8 million
23% RAF participation...we achieved 20% participation
100% $197 participation of all C.A.R. Directors. We had 16 Regions at 100%
2010 C.A.R. Statewide Fundraising Contest Part II-RAF Participation
The Associations that had the highest RAF participation in their specific category. The following winners were announced:
Petite Category (1-200) Lassen AOR 56%
Small Category (201-500) Humboldt AOR 51%
Medium I Category (501-1500) Monterey AOR 39%
Medium I Category (501-1500) Palos Verdes Peninsula AOR 39%
Medium II Category (1501-3000) California Desert AOR 39%
Large Category (3001-6000) Inland Valleys AOR 34%
Jumbo Category (6001+) Southland Regional 30%
2010 Contest Part III-C.A.R./NAR Golden R's Recruits
The Association (s) that recruits the most C.A.R./NAR Golden R's. The winner was Orange County AOR with 4 C.A.R. Golden R's.
NAR Updates:
Bob McMillan, NAR Member Mobilization Liaison gave an update on the Broker Involvement Program. Chris Polychron, Political Fundraising Liaison gave an update on the NAR Political Fundraising. John Smaby, RPAC 2010 Major Donor Liaison and Jim Helsel, RPAC 2011 Major Donor Liaison gave a presentation.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:14 a.m.
