It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to approve the minutes of the June 5,
2009 meeting in Sacramento.

The Trustees/Directors reviewed and accepted financial statements for the

C.A.R. SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION
C.A.R. SCHOLARSHIP/EDUCATION FOUNDATION BOOTH
During the October 2009 EXPO in San Jose the Scholarship/Education
Trustees/Director received contributions totaling $1,392.
The winner of the 50/50 raffle was Joel Carlson, who generously donated 90%
of the winnings back to the foundations – Total donation from Carlson was
$600 and he received the remaining $97 as the total prize winnings.
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to create a C.A.R. Scholarship
Foundation/C.A.R. Education Foundation video testimonial to be launch at
the February Meetings in 2010.
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to contact individuals/groups with
initiated funds not close to the $10,000 mark and confirm if funds could be
transferred to the general C.A.R. Scholarship Foundation Fund. As well as
contacting those initiated funds which are close to the $10,000 mark and
work to make the fund perpetual.
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to contact Universities and Colleges
and promote our foundation through University/College websites.

Contributions of $250 were received from the following local associations

It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to solicit regions for contributions
before each Directors Meeting. Also, the Directors plan to explore
different avenues to solicit contributions in 2010.
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to promote Education Foundation through
the C.A.R. Educational Services Advisory Committee and REALTOR® Team Store.
It was Moved, Seconded, and CARRIED to draft a questionnaire/script when
following up with the Education Foundation applicants.
