Chair Wendy Furth called the meeting to order at 9:45 a.m. Wendy welcomed everyone to their second meeting. Wendy reported that the Sacramento Spa Retreat NAR Grant Fundraiser was a great success and thanked everyone for their paricipation. Further, she reported that Capitol Reception was a hugh success!
Fred N. Davis III, CEO/Founder of Strategic Perception Inc., shared some great stories about the "art" of campaiging.
Rick Violett, 2010 NAR RPAC Trustee gave an RPAC update.
Jim Liptak, 2011 NAR RPIC Chairman reminded FPCs that they need to make sure they respond to NAR Call to Actions and send in their electronic reports. This is the year that FPCs will be reappointed or removed and NAR is looking very closely at those reports.
Christopher Nave, NAR RPAC Major Donor Fundraising Reprsentative shared some ideas on Fundriaising for Top Producers.
Chair, Wendy Furth reported that the SPF committee would be presenting the Political Assessment to the Board of Directors as an action item for a final vote.
Vice Chair, Gene Lentz gave an update on the 2010 Statewide Fundraising and announced the winners for the 1st Statewide Fundraising Contest. The following Associations raised the most RAF funds in their category:
