Title: Marketing Specialist Group: Communication Reports To: Marketing Services Manager
The Marketing Specialist will serve to fulfill various marketing related duties for C.A.R. as a whole, as well as provide marketing services for various other programs outside the Communication Department. This position will be extremely broad-based, incorporating strategy, implementation, supervision of external vendor interaction, and strong creative output.
• Responsiblities • Implement marketing plans and timelines for numerous programs, and products as needed. • Establish a marketing plan template, and use it as a guideline for programs. • Implement various marketing elements, from writing email campaigns to writing video scripts, maintaining social media viability to conceptualizing creative promotions for various programs. • Handle all marketing duties with respect to all programs from various departments requiring such services within the Communications department. • Maintain oversight of all graphics and marketing related policies and procedures for the association. • Be the point person for staff in terms of providing guidance for all marketing related activities. • Handle, as future needs dictate, various duties related to assisting the product marketing function of our for-profit subsidiary, REBS. • Plan, delegate, and manage work assignments and projects of others. • Develop and execute policies and programs.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in communication or marketing required. • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing require. • Ability to think strategically. • Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). • Excellent written and oral communication skills and outstanding customer service orientation. • Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situation and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives. • Ability to work effectively with co-workers and management by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner. • Ability to objectively consider ideas and suggestions from others.
