Job Title: Real Estate Finance Consultant/Lender Ombudsman

The Real Estate Finance Consultant/Lender Ombudsman position requires a broad range of skills and experience in dealing with the lending industry. This position is designed to help REALTORS® navigate through the various nuances, intricacies of real estate finance, procedural differences, navigating through short sale transactions, and overall difficulties with in the financing, and funding the real estate transaction. This person will be required to be proficient and knowledgeable in the transaction for everything from providing information about buyer eligibility for programs, qualifying for a loan, providing financial help and guidance during escrow and closing. It will also require strict tenacity, persistence, and in-depth knowledge in the real estate finance and lending arena. Duties include counseling association members on financing real estate transactions, manage relationships between members of the association and the lending community, coordinate special events for the real estate community specific to real estate finance, assist in communications for the program, and assist in create and maintenance of a database of real estate financing and opportunities available to customers of real estate. Requires Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in the real estate industry, in addition to real estate transactional knowledge. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with lenders and REALTORS®.
