RAF Fundraising Recognition Programs

REALTOR® Action Fund:  $197 is a calendar-year contribution.
• $197 annual renewal
• RAF pin/ribbon given to Member annually
• Invitation to the annual Capitol Reception held during Legislative Day in Sacramento

MAJOR DONOR LEVELS
The following amounts include the RAF $197.

California Sterling R”:  $498 is a calendar-year contribution
• $498 Annual Renewal
•  “Sterling R” pin given to Member annually
• Invitation to the annual Capitol Reception held during Legislative Day in Sacramento

“California Golden R”:  $1598 initial Contribution
• $498 Annual Renewal
• “California Golden R” pin given in the year the member signs up.
• Invitation to the annual Capitol Reception held during Legislative Day in Sacramento
• Invitation to attend the annual Golden R reception held at the fall C.A.R. meeting.

“N.A.R. Golden R”:  $5098 initial Contribution
• $2,098 Annual Renewal
• “NAR Golden R” pin given in the year the member signs up.
• Invitation from NAR to attend their special functions during NAR meetings.
• Invitation to the annualCapitol Reception held during Legislative Day in Sacramento
• Invitation to the annual Golden R reception held during the fall C.A.R. meetings

President Circle Club:  To become a member of C.A.R.’s President Circle Club, your minimum lifetime contribution must be $1,000 to the REALTOR® Action Fund.  Members will be rewarded for every $1,000 they contribute and will receive a President Circle Pin that will denote each $1,000, up to $10,000.  For example:  Once a member achieves their minimum lifetime contribution of $1,000, C.A.R. will forward a pin with one diamondette. Upon making $2,000 a combined $2,000 lifetime contribution, C.A.R. will forward another pin with two diamondettes…this willcontinue until a member has reached a lifetime contribution of $10,000.  Once a member has reached $10,000 in lifetime contributions, the member will receive a solid gold President Circle and RAF pin.

$10,001-$15,000 (Plain Gold RAF pin)

Gold President Circle Holders:  These members have reached a lifetime contribution of $15,001 or above. These members receive a new solid gold RAF pin with a “stone” added to signify their lifetime contributions to date:  Here are the level breakdowns:

$15,001-$20,000 (Ruby-stone added to RAF pin)
$20,001-$25,000 (Ruby and Emerald stones added to RAF pin)
$25,001-$30,000 (Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire stones added to RAF pin)
$30,001 and up(Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Amethyst stones added to RAF pin)
 
These pins are available NOW !  C.A.R. can provide you with a list of members in your Association that are eligible for a President Circle pin.   Additionally, please encourage your members to go online and review their own RAF contribution history.  The following instructions, explain how to navitgate to the RAF Contribution History Page.

NAVITGATING TO THE REALTOR® ACTION FUND CONTRIBUTION HISTORY PAGE
When on the Home Page (www.car.org)... You will do the following:
1. Scroll down on the left side and click on “My C.A.R.”;
2. Enter your password and then you will be taken to “My C.A.R. andyou should see “Welcome Your Name”;
3. On the left side scroll under “My Profile” and click on “Contributions”; almost there…
4. Once you reach the “Contribution History Page,” you have a choice to review your RAF and/or Charitable Contributions.
5. Once you click on either your RAF or Charitable link, you will be able to review your contributions.After reviewing and you have learned that you have reached a “milestone” in your RAF contributions, (i.e. C.A.R. President Circle Club), please contact C.A.R. staff at lisae@car.org  (916) 492.5211  or fax your request to (916) 492.5290 to order the appropriate pin.  All orders must be done by email orfax.
