Policy Committee Archives
C.A.R.'s policy committee structure consists of three "levels of government"
committees: the Federal Issues Committee, the (State) Legislative Issues
Committee and the Local Governmental Relations Committee. Additionally,
there are several policy issues committees, which consider specific policy
issues only, such as taxation and property management. Together, these
committees form the structure of C.A.R.'s policy making process. It is
here that specific issues are considered and formal positions are taken.
These positions inform C.A.R.'s legislative advocacy objectives in the public
policy making arena.
