Key contact funds are available during
each two-year election cycle for incumbent Assemblymembers and State
Senators. For both the primary election and general election,
key contact(s) may request up to $1000 in key contact funds from
CREPAC to attend a local fundraiser. If there is more than one key
contact, all must share that amount. Contact Lisa Edwards at 916-492-5211 for
the availability of Key Contact Funds for a particular
legislator.
PLEASE
NOTE: Proposition 34 restricts
contributions from being given to “termed out legislators for their
current office. If they are running for a new office, support
for a particular candidate in that race will be determined by the
CREPAC Trustees.
Requesting RPAC FPC funds for your
congress member to attend a local in-district event is similar to the
request of key contact funds (above). The amount of in-district funds
per election cycle is $1,000. This amount should be sufficient
for you and your co-FPC (if applicable) to attend an in-district
event. There are no term limits for members of
Congress. Contact CAR staff at 916-492-5211 for
availability of FPC in-district funds. Staff will request those funds
through RPAC for you.
We always want to know what is going on
locally, please contact David Howard, the CAR
Political Affairs Director, with any updates on your legislator, or
information on the races in your district.
