Ginni Field - Ginni Field began her real estate career in
August of 1986 as a sales associate and was recruited to manage a branch in
January of 1989 remaining in Branch Manager for over 20 years. Her
many accolades included being named REALTOR® Associate of the Year in 1991
and REALTOR® of the Year 1998 by the Greater Fairfield Association of
REALTORS® in Fairfield, Connecticut. She is a former state director
of the Connecticut Association of REALTORS® and former president of the
Greater Fairfield Association of REALTORS®.
Additionally Ginni is a California Association of REALTORS® Director
assigned to several committees over the years including the Business
Practices Task Force, Legislative Committee, License Law Working Group and
the Education Committee. Ginni served as Regional Chair for Region 29
for the California Association of Realtors in 2006 and served on the
Executive committee of the California Association of Realtors in
2007. Ginni is in her fifth year as a National Association of
REALTORS® Director having been the Education Committee Liaison for the
California Association of Realtors in 2006 and a member of the Business
Issues Committee in 2007. She was appointed to a three-year term on
the National Association of REALTORS Professional Development Committee
serving from 2008 through 2010. Ginni was also 2004 President
of the North San Diego County Association of REALTORS®.
Within her extensive experience, Ginni holds several designations including
being a Graduate of REALTOR® Institute (GRI), an Accredited Buyer
Representative (ABR) a Certified Residential Brokerage Manager (CRB),
Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and a Seller Representation Specialist
(SRS). She teaches Business Development, Business Planning and Goal Setting
and Time Management; Recruiting and Business Management for large and small
real estate companies and other courses she has written on Change and
Mindset to small and large groups throughout the United States.
Ginni has also been a real estate and life coach and mentor since
1990. She feels her greatest asset is her ability to connect to her
coaching clients and help them discover their greatest potential. She is
passionate about helping people achieve their goals. She recently added
to her education base by attending the Brian Tracy Focal Point Coaching and
Management Program as well as International Coach Federation Foundations
Course.
People who know Ginni would describe her as leadership oriented yet a great
listener. In the Real Estate Industry, Ginni is known for getting things
done and making a positive difference in everything she takes part in.
John Shipman - John Shipman is CEO of Energy Efficiency
Management, Inc., a full service green and energy efficiency consulting and
green energy efficiency solutions corporation. He is a Realtor, CAR
instructor for the NAR Green designation and Instructor and Program Coordinator
for California State University, Long Beach Continuing Education's Green
Building Certificate Program. In addition to his teaching and corporate
activities and many green and energy efficient certifications, he is a
certified green building home performance contractor with Energy Star, and a
certified HERS rater for home energy audits and analysis, specializing in
energy efficient mortgages (EEM's). He is considered by many, an expert in the
area of green energy efficiency and the energy efficient mortgage (EEM).
He collaborates with many statewide organizations in California, including
CHEERS and Build It Green, one of the most respected non-profit green
organizations in the nation, on cost effective green building protocols for
existing homes and for local units of government statewide. In the area
of green energy efficiency for existing homes, he is one of the most respected
individuals in his field. He is often invited by organizations to speak
on this topic, and has been invited by HUD to educate their staff on field
related issues of the Energy Efficient Mortgage (EEM), regarding existing homes
and the home energy rating system (HERS) process.
Joe Ramos, Regional Educational Trainer/Instructor - With 40
years of experience in the real estate industry, Joe Ramos has acquired.
notoriety for his vast knowledge of real estate subjects. For more than 20
years, he has been a teacher and trainer for the California Department of
Real Estate.
As one of the state’s finest Department of Real Estate speakers, he has
taught DRE certified classes and presented seminars to over half a million
real estate agents in California and Hawaii.
Along with classes for real estate agents, Joe has also conducted
presentations for probate attorneys throughout Southern California.
In addition to teaching, he has appeared on a real estate television
program in Manhattan Beach discussing 1031 Exchange.
Prior to becoming a DRE instructor, he owned and operated two highly
successful real estate offices and an escrow company. Even today, he continues
to hold a California Real Estate/Brokers license, credentials that he has held
since 1967.
As a respected leader in the real estate market and a member of both C.A.R. and
NAR, Joe is pleased to share his experience and knowledge with other
REALTORS®. Married for 35 years, Joe has two daughters, one
beautiful granddaughter, and makes his home with his wife in Whittier, CA.
Bob Hart - Realtor/Educator/Green Advocate - Bob along with
his wife Debbie, was the owner/broker of Century 21 A Hart Realty, Inc. from
May 1991 through September 2006. Prior to entering the real estate field,
Bob was in law enforcement for 11 years.
Bob is a past President of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors.
He is a Director for the California Association of REALTORS and currently
Chairs their Green Task Force. He is a Director for the National
Association of REALTORS (NAR) and was appointed to a Presidential Advisory
Group on Climate Change for NAR. He was a speaker on How Global
Climate Change Legislation will affect Realtors at the 2008 NAR Annual
Conference in Orlando and will present a session on How to Green Your MLS
and Association at the 2009 NAR Conference in San Diego. Bob was
recently appointed to the California Home Energy Efficiency Rating System
(CHEERS) Board of Directors.
Bob and Debbie Hart have remodeled a number of homes in the Santa Barbara
area and enjoy doing all aspects of the projects themselves. They are
especially interested in building “Green.” The home that they are
currently remodeling will have solar power, solar water heating for both
domestic hot water and space heating, and many innovative features such as a
drywell to return roof water to the ground. The Harts are “hands-on” with
green building materials and techniques almost daily. In addition to
their current projects, the Harts are currently powering a home and their
office building by the sun, and are constantly striving to improve on their
Green Lifestyle.
Bob is also an educator. He was a college instructor for real estate
classes for 12 years. As an instructor for the NAR Green Designation
course, Bob is very fortunate to be able to combine his passions for green
living and educating REALTORS. Due to his depth of knowledge of the
subject matter and his passionate and humorous delivery, Bob’s students enjoy
learning the benefits of Greening their lives and businesses.
Gov Huitchinson - Assistant General Counsel - Gov has been
with C.A.R. since 1985 and manages C.A.R.'s Member Legal Services Program in
Los Angeles. Gov advises REALTORS® through the "Hotline" on all aspects of real
estate law and he trains and supervises other "Hotline" attorneys. Gov received
his Bachelor’s Degree in History from Princeton University and his Juris
Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania.
Wendi Molina, Independent Transaction Coordinator - Wendi
Molina has been in the Real Estate Industry for over 20 year.
She has worked as a Loan Officer, also as a Real Estate Agent and for the
past 12 years as a Transaction Coordinator. She was Co-President of
the Transaction Coordinators of San Diego County back in 1998. She
also assisted in the development of the RealtyAssist Transaction Management
Program that was bought by Stewart Title Company (now called Sureclose).
She has worked for large Brokerage offices as well as been an Independent
Transaction Coordinator. She has been teaching and training Transaction
Coordinators for the past 5 years. In 2006 she sold her Fundamentals of
Transaction Coordination class to the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® for
whom she now teaches the class.
She has resided in San Diego for the past 20
years.
Neil D. Kalin -Assistant General Counsel - Neil joined the
CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® in 1987 and is now Assistant General
Counsel. He is the senior legal advisor to C.A.R.’s Standard Forms
Committee, provides advice to C.A.R. members on the Legal Hotline, and writes
many of C.A.R.’s Appellate Court Briefs. Neil is an arbitrator for the
American Arbitration Association (AAA) and has served as a Judge Pro Tem and a
volunteer mediator and arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Superior
Court.
Neil has earned his CIPS designation (Certified International Property
Specialist) from N.A.R. in 2001. In 1982, Neil received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois. Also in
1982, he received his Certificate of Public Accountancy (CPA). Neil was
graduated from UCLA School of Law in 1985.
Fatima Sogueco is the WINForms® Product Coordinator for
the California Association of REALTOR® (C.A.R.) providing WINForms®
training and support to local Associations throughout the state. She joined
C.A.R. in October 2006. Before joining C.A.R., Fatima was the IT Department
Specialist for RE/MAX Grand Central in Tarzana. During her time at RE/MAX, she
offered technical training for computer applications, including WINForms® and
local MLS software. She also monitored all of the technology products used in
the organization, ranging from network servers to workstations.
When she joined C.A.R. in 2006, she gained more experience with WINForms®,
by working for the Customer Contact Center. Via telephone she provided:
General membership support, WINForms® instructions and troubleshooting,
REALTOR® database management, and provided support for additional C.A.R.
products.
In October 2007, Fatima transitioned as the WINForms® Product Coordinator.
She began to provide WINForms® training through Local Associations of REALTORS®
throughout the state, as well as hosting additional training for members
through Webinars (conducting live presentation via the Internet). In 2008,
Fatima expanded her instructions to include, relay®, Forms Advisor™/Forms
Tutor™, DocuSign® (electronic signature software) and ePUBS™ for WINForms®.
Fatima is currently attending California State University, Northridge to
complete her Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and enjoys
living in Southern California with her family.
Chris Tellez currently manages the technology training
programs at the California Association of REALTORS®. He entered the tech arena
with the purchase of his first computer, a Leading Edge 486SX with 8MB RAM with
a 14" color monitor and a black & white dot matrix printer for which he
paid a little over $2,000.00. Many computers and a wealth of computer knowledge
later, he accepted the position of I.T. Manager at the California Association
of REALTORS® in 1999. He was responsible for setting up a solid network and
computer infrastructure to better serve C.A.R. members.
In 2008 he combined his love of teaching, passion for computers, and creative
energy to become the Manager of Online Training Programs for C.A.R's Education
department. He has developed an array of technology courses with an emphasis on
social media that offer timely information, while remaining entertaining and
fun. His technology courses provide REALTORS® with the information they need to
better market themselves using the Internet.
Sanjay Wagle is Counsel for the California Association of
REALTORS®. He has been with C.A.R. since 2003. Sanjay is one of
C.A.R.’s Member Legal Services’ “Hotline” attorneys providing legal advice on a
wide range of real estate related legal issues to REALTORS®. Sanjay also
does outreaches to local associations providing legal updates and talks on
specific legal topics and has taught continuing education classes to REALTORS®
as well. He is also assistant editor of the C.A.R. legal blog. Sanjay
received his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago and his law
degree from the University of Southern California.
