How business transactions are conducted in Argentina 
- BASIC TRANSACTION INFORMATION
Commissions:
The commission is between 3% and 5%. Both, the buyer and the seller pay it. Property, ownership, title insurance:
- Private property right exists and is subject to the Foreign Investments Law.
- The title of ownership is recorded in the Property Register. Contracts must be registered in form of public documents within 15 days of its signature. Deeds in the common law sense do not exist.
- Rental contracts are restricted with aminimum duration of 2-3 years and a maximum of 10 years Transaction information systems:

Private ownership is allowed in Argentina. As business partnership two forms exist: General Partnership (unlimited liability) and Limited Partnership (limited liability tothe capital contribution of the partners).Contracts:

Loans can be issued in U.S. Dollars which tends to reduce the interest rate. Title is not passed on to the mortgagee.Financing and lending practices:
Banks require loan to value ratios between 50% - 70%.
Taxation:
The property is taxed on its fiscal value; a value set by the Government. Income Tax (11 - 30%) applies for rental revenues and for profits resulting from sales. Value added tax (21%) charged on building costs. A stamp tax (max 2.5%) applies to real estate transactions.

Fashion:
Dress differs from region to region. It is rather conservative. Young people tend towards more casual wear. Basic cultural skills:
A handshake and a slight nod showrespect. People are introduced by title. Hand gestures are common in daily conversation. Visiting:
Visiting does not require a prior appointment and being late is acceptable. Small giftsand compliments are appreciated. Greet each person individually. Restaurants:
Tipping is not required but for special services 10% is appropriate.
