Job Summary:
The Research Coordinator position requires a broad range of skills and experience in support of key research and communications objectives and goals. In addition to general administrative support of the Membership Information Group with California Association of Realtors, the position will be responsible for assistance with report preparation, publishing and communication of information, compilation and maintenance of databases, special event planning, and managing content for social media and web campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Coordination of special events for real estate community, including promotional strategies, content development and material preparation, exhibit logistics, travel coordination and communications
• Develop, implement and maintain all marketing strategies including but not limited to: social media, website, print media, etc.
• Support of the department’s social media campaign including frequent monitoring of and activity on Facebook, Twitter, blog etc.
• Assistance with department’s website - content organization and management of ongoing updates
• Creation and maintenance of databases of relevant information and programs and dissemination of information to real estate community
• Assistance in preparation, packaging and marketing of department’s products, including reports, presentations, articles
• General administrative support of the research team: data gathering, presentation preparation, summary writing
• Developing consistency in branding of research products, including reports, presentations, one-page summaries, etc.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Membership Information Group
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
• Minimum one (1) year marketing experience
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Experience with social media content management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks on time and within budget
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve individual and organization objectives
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, and graphic design software
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers to provide support and resolve issues
• Excellent grammar and ability to proofread
