Job Summary: C.A.R. is looking for a strong writer to join our communications team. This individual will work on a variety of different online content projects, including conducting online research and creating original content for the new technology section of the company’s website, www.car.org, in addition to other communications projects for both print and online. This is a great opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented college student to obtain some valuable work experience in communications and marketing.
Responsibilities: • Research content for technology section. • Write content for technology section. • Other projects/tasks as needed.
Requirements: • Some college completed (college-level communications/writing courses). • Previous experience writing for websites or other publications a plus. • Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding customer service orientation. • Excellent work ethic and attendance.
